Synopsis
Akiko is appointed Chief Purser on the prestigious Tokaido bullet train route, stretching from Tokyo, south past Mt. Fuji, through the ancient capital of Kyoto, and down to the business metropolis of Osaka. However, she has only just completed her training and still has a lot to learn. As a common cliché among this genre of drama, she seems at first to be a liability, but soon reveals that she has an empathy with the passengers in her care that makes her much loved and respected.
